Okay, the last post I made was all about our bye week during the weekend of October 17th. Part 2 of football fever is from the weekend of October 24th.
Friday night was the Eagles Homecoming Dance. Due to some grown up b.s, my husband was uninvited to all Eagles activities, so we decided to spend time together as a family doing something fun . Two boys that Hunter plays football with joined us for the Mesquite Skeeters football game. We met up with Renee and Hayden and some of their family to watch the game. Since Renee's husband Sam is a coach at Mesquite, the kids got to go slap hands with the team and follow them out onto the field. We had a great time!
The following day was the last game of the regular season for Hunter's team. We saw a lot of this...

The final score was: Eagles-32, Vikings-0. This victory landed the team a 7th seed spot into the playoffs! They were so excited! Last year the E team only won 3 games, and this year, they only lost 3 games!!! What a difference a year can make.
