On Saturday morning, I had to get up and take the kiddos to their friend Caleb's birthday party in Rockwall. They were surprising well behaved considering Grace had stayed up past 2:00 in the morning and Hunter was up until around 4:00 a.m. On the way to the party, Wes' dad called to tell me that some of our family from Mississippi was in town. So, that afternoon we went to Wes' parents house to visit with Aunt Pat, Uncle David, and cousin Matt.

We got home and everyone took a longggggg nap. That evening, the Moore's came over to our house to hang out. Wes decided he wanted to drink, which he NEVER does..He got pretty silly before finally calling it a night.
Then on Sunday, we headed over to the Owens house for an official Memorial Day cook out. The kiddos played in the sprinklers, jumped on the trampoline, and drank their usual 500 Capri Suns. The grown ups chowed down on steaks, ribs, and other yummys. We also got out the blender and played some washers.

Monday, Wes borrowed his dad's boat, and the Moore's loaded up their boat for a trip to Lake Ray Hubbard. Grace and Demaris (Hunter's best friend) had never been on a boat before. The kids had a blast. They were all brave enough to swim in the water too. I was a nervous wreck worrying about them since there were so many boaters out that day. We all had a good time though.
