Time is moving quickly. Every now and then I try to stop..to breathe...and to record a piece of it.. before it is all forgotten. What you will find here is my life; the good, the bad, and the fugly.

Daddy's girl...
Sooooo. I am super excited to share some of my latest pics with you all. I had the opportunity to photograph Don and Shirley's sweet baby girl this week. Coach Tim, a friend and enemy (see my other blog-LOL!) came to help. He used to work as a photographer and brought his lights and taught me a lot of things during the shoot. Anyways, I'm no preofessional, but I am so proud of how these pics turned out. Dakota was born with some joint anomalies in her hips and thighs, which makes it a little bit more difficult to put her into certain positions.. But as you can see, she is simply beautiful, and her Daddy is so in love. After four boys, he finally got his little girl.
I'm a 35 y.o., step-mama to a 17 y.o., and mama to a 14 y.o. and 10 y.o., currently working as an ER nurse. I attend a local Baptist church when my children wake me up and pull me out of bed, and tend to vote for Democrats and Liberals. That's how I roll. I highly recommend the book Blue Like Jazz to everyone I meet, and I always recommend the book Raising Your Spirited Child to mom's who have the same look of panic that was permanently on my face 7 years ago. I enjoy photography, but need to actually read some books if I'm ever going to get any better. I'm sarcastic, and enjoy sarcasm in others. I wouldn't dish it if I couldn't take it, so bring it on. I think the greatest gift in life is the ability to find humor in all things. Some people find laughter offensive. I am not one of those people. I enjoy music from every genre. I am my father's daughter, and I talk about him often. I am living the life I was meant to live, and loving the people I was meant to love. There are no accidents. There are no coincidences. It was all in the plan.
